Web Audio Recorder

Terms of Service

These terms apply to Web Audio Recorder, a Chrome extension that records audio, uploads a cloud WAV copy, and lets you save an optional MP3 file.

Last updated June 8, 2026

1. Service

Web Audio Recorder provides a Chrome extension that records audio only when you press record. The extension uses email sign-in, uploads a recording-quality WAV copy to your cloud account, and lets you save an optional MP3 file to your device.

2. Acceptable use

You are responsible for the recordings you create with the extension and for using it only where you have the right to do so. Where laws or platform rules require it, make sure everyone involved is aware that a recording is being made and uploaded before you start. You must be 18 or older to use the recorder, and you must not record anyone under 18.

3. Your recordings

Recordings you create are uploaded to your cloud account and may also be saved as optional MP3 files on your device. You are responsible for keeping, organizing, backing up, or deleting local files. Extension settings let you delete uploaded cloud recordings, withdraw AI-training consent, change future consent, or revoke access.

4. No warranty

Web Audio Recorder is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Recording results can vary depending on your device, browser, and the audio source, and we do not guarantee that every recording will capture or save successfully.

5. Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time. Questions about these terms, privacy, or support can be sent to hello@meetingchai.com.
